Archbishop George Leo Thomas, Ph.D., Issues A Pastoral Reflection on Fiducia Supplicans for the Priests, Deacons, and Faithful of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas 

La Virgen de Guadalupe in Mesquite, Nevada gathered on December 10, 2023, to celebrate the second Sunday of Advent and the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The highlight of the weekend was the 10 a.m. Mass was celebrated by Archbishop George Leo Thomas, Ph.D., and concelebrated by Fr. Joji Vincent, the Parochial Administrator which brought an extra level of solemnity and celebration. 

Archbishop George Leo Thomas, Ph.D., Archbishop of Las Vegas has issued the following statement on the shooting at UNLV: "Today, I am holding close those who have been affected by the shooting on the University of Nevada Las Vegas Campus. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims and the survivors of this tragedy. May the embrace of the Lord, compassionately hold and console those who are suffering. May his comforting presence bring solace and strength to their hearts, granting them the grace to face their challenges with hope and resilience." ###
