Fr. John Assalone stated that the parish festival is celebrating its 18th year. The festival was started by then-Fr. Greg, now Bishop Gordon, was the founding pastor of St. Francis in Henderson. “It’s about the community. We get to celebrate the community the whole weekend,” shared Fr. Assalone.

The family attended the festival all three days of the festival. “The Church does a great job every year. There is always lots of great food booths and different types of entertainment,” said Sean Bellinger. “The kids love the games, and its always a great opportunity to come out and see people you don’t see too often.”
