Read MoreFebruary 2, 2023 - Catholic Schools Week is a time to reflect on the impact of Catholic education and celebrate the achievements of our students, teachers, and staff. This year, Catholic Schools Week will be held from January 29th to February 4th.
The highlight of the week was the Mass on February 2, celebrated by Bishop George Leo Thomas, Ph.D., Bishop of Las Vegas at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Henderson. This Mass was a special moment for the Diocese to come together to give thanks for the blessings of Catholic education and to renew our commitment to supporting Catholic schools.
Catholic schools provide a holistic education that combines academic excellence with spiritual, moral, and ethical development. The community atmosphere of Catholic schools helps students to thrive and feel safe, secure, and supported. Despite challenges, Catholic schools continue to make a positive impact on the lives of students and the communities they serve.
Join us in celebrating Catholic Schools Week and the many blessings of Catholic education. Let us recommit ourselves to supporting Catholic schools, so that they may continue to prepare students to be leaders of compassion, innovation, and vision.
