Join us for the Mass of Sending Forth!

(LAS VEGAS) August 5, 2024 — The Archdiocese of Las Vegas invites the community to join Archbishop George Leo Thomas, Ph.D. and Bishop Gregory Gordon for the Mass of Sending Forth on August 30, 2024, at Saint Anne Catholic Church. This special event will honor and support the seminarians of the Archdiocese as they prepare for another year of formation and service at their respective seminaries. 

The special Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Thomas will mark the beginning of the academic year and formally welcome and introduce the new seminarians to the Catholic community.  This Mass is an opportunity for the community to express their support and appreciation for the dedication these young men have shown in pursuing their vocations.

The seminarians for the 2024-2025 academic year are Magnus Igbokwe, Simon Tran, Sean-Matthew Flores, Robert Martinez, German-Andres Ramirez, Juanpablo Macias, Gino Esposito, Ernesto Juarez, Josue Del Toro, Michael Maddox, and Nhat Le. These seminarians represent a diverse group committed to becoming future leaders of the Church.

Following the Mass, attendees are invited to a light reception, offering a chance to meet the seminarians personally. This gathering will allow parishioners, family members, and friends to connect with the seminarians, fostering a supportive network that will accompany them throughout their year of study and service.
